Baby Magic Soft Cotton Blooms

Ahhh the sweet smell of baby shampoo sure does bring back memories from when the boys were little.  But a lot has changed over the years including different scents!  So with a new baby in the house I was thrilled to try something new including Baby Magic Soft Cotton Blooms. 

Baby Magic remains tear free and dye free plus hypoallergenic for that very special sensitive skin. But the Soft Cotton Blooms is a totally new scent for their Hair and Body Wash and Baby Lotion.  I love the Soft Cotton Blooms because it has a hint of sweet lily and jasmine plus its perfect for our wonderful little baby boy rather than the traditional baby lotion scent. 

Baby Magic still works just as great as I remember!  It lathers up really well and still rinses away easily making bath time less work and a lot more enjoyable.  I squirted a little in the tub before filling up for some extra bubbles and he loved it!!!  I’m so glad we have a baby who loves bath time!

Of course a bath wouldn’t be the same with out a little lotion! Little man loves spoil time where he gets lotion all over his hands, feet, back and belly.  And with Baby Magic, I know there is no harm in him putting his hands in his mouth afterwards because they strive on safety and quality baby products.

 The Baby Magic brand was always a favorite of mine when the boys were growing up and I am so grateful I have the opportunity to once again enjoy their products.

Backyard Safari Outfitters

Spring is finally here and summer is just around the corner so I am always trying to push the kids to go play outside, after all there is no reason to be cooped up in the house when it’s so nice out!  Well Backyard Safari Outfitters kept Mr. Maison busy for hours last night!!!

We received a Cargo Vest which holds all of his little “findings”, tools, and toys.  It has large pockets which are great for the Field Binocs.  I think Maison could have slept in this last night if I would have let him.  What a goof!  The Cargo Vest is well made; he’s not going to destroy it after playing with it just a few times even when he uses the D-Rings on it to hold other toys.  I love the quality of this vest!

The Field Binocs are pretty standard for a kiddo’s binoculars. But I was really surprised at how clear they were especially for a 5x30 zoom.  They are adjustable and waterproof which is good considering we have the pool in the back yard, or for those days they get left out in the rain.  Why can’t kids just bring everything in when they are done with it? Oh well, that’s ok because I know these wont get ruined by a little rain.  A+ there!

We also received a Lazer Light Bug Vacuum, how cool is that!  I don’t know how many bugs Maison was able to suck up, but it was pretty cool watching him try.  There is a light at the end of it to help you see the tiny ones and they go right into a Capture Core where the kids can sit there and watch them.  That was pretty interesting.

The last toy we received from Backyard Safari Outfitters is a Land and Water Habitat.  I couldn’t believe how well made this is!  It’s absolutely heavy duty and a beautiful habitat for the kids to watch their new finds.   I’m sure the kids will be looking for more critters to put in it tonight! Yuck!! Can I tell them to leave it outside? Ohhhhhh I better just stick with leaving it closed! The habitat provides a very natural and safe home for all the critters. YAY me….

Curtain & Bath Outlet

With extra kids in the house our electric bill has already gone up $100 and I’m terrified of how bad it’s going to get this summer.  That’s why I do everything I can to reduce cost and save energy.  We have so many DIY projects for you coming up but let’s start with something so simple and easy like a new set of curtains. 

On the search for a new set of curtains I came across Curtain & Bath Outlet Shop.  It’s amazing how big of a difference a good set of curtains make when re-decorating a room.  But more importantly blackout curtains will help when your trying to save some energy cost like us.  I found these Taunton Insulating BlackoutCurtains and I just love them! 

Not that I am rolling around on my curtains but they are really a soft polyester material and yet super sturdy and strong. Here is another product this week where the online picture doesn’t come close to doing the product justice.  The embossed swirl design is light and the curtains look 100% better than they do online.  The tight weaved material is working wonderfully to block out the sun which can really heat up our sitting room in the coming summer months.

One more thing, have you looked at the cost of curtains lately?  I have… because we have been trying to redo several rooms and the simple fact is, curtains are not cheap.  The Taunton Blackout Curtain Pair was to my surprise affordable and for the quality I recommend these all the way.

Boz the Bear Videos

A few minutes at a time, I have been trying to sneak on the computer to get some blogging done or even some homework.  I would like to give a big thank you to Boz The Green Bear Next Door Videos for allowing me to get in a third blog post this morning and hopefully more this afternoon because my little one is content watching your videos and playing with his toys rather than in my lap, for the moment anyways…

Boz the Green Bear Next Door is a series of religious interactive children video’s.  They are providing a peace of mind knowing the kiddo’s are watching something truly educational and clean.  I love that the animation and the brilliant colors really grab the kid’s attentions.  Generally a young child will watch a few minutes if not seconds of a video and run off to the next thing, that’s not the case with these because of the wonderful interaction.  He’s been sitting there for about 15 minutes with a toy truck watching Boz the bear.  This is great!

LoopRope

So here is another product I am sure we are going to get a lot of use out of this summer.

 LoopRope is a 5 foot rope that gives you 10 different custom tie down lengths has over 18 different attachment points!  This rope looks pretty simple, but the use is unlimited!

I found so many different ways to use our LoopRope! My favorite was holding the cooler and other bags in the trunk of the car.  The different tie down lengths are perfect! And as long as hubby doesn’t carry it off to work, LoopRope will be perfect for our boat!  I love the fact that you can use it to dock the boat or hold the fishing poles in place!  We generally have so many poles out at a time that it just becomes a huge mess.  I can’t wait to take LoopRope out on the boat! 

I found so many different ways to use the LoopRope I might just have to get a second or third.  LoopRope is a great organizational tool and a very secure work tool.

Dream Blends

Ahhhh!!! I did it again!  I forgot to get milk last week at the store when I was picking up groceries and of course the kids wanted cereal for breakfast Saturday morning.  Luckily I had some of Dream Blends non-dairy drink mixes and was able to substitute it for milk and out of three boys, no one could tell the difference. Dream Blends saved the day I tell ya!

Then without having to leave the house, I was able to do some baking using the Dream Blends Rice Drink.  This was a double win for me because milk tends to upset my stomach or give me really bad heart burn.    

Dream blends offers several different flavors and while being low fat is still enriched with vitamin A, B12, D & Calcium.

The Almond, Cashew, and Hazelnut drink is my favorite.  This is new to Dream Blends and still provided a creamy taste while being 100% organic and gluten free.   This will be my favorite for smoothies for sure!
