React Mobile

I love my apps I really do but there are very few that I can actually find a use for every single day.  You know the ones that really make it worth while to download. Well recently I came across React Mobile and I knew that was an app I wanted for not only myself but my kids as well.  

The boys are just to the age where I am finally letting them walk to a friends house.  Granted it's a straight shot but I still worry just as any mom should.  With React Mobile, I can know exactly where they are every step of the way and if the unthinkable happens, they can prompt 911 with the touch of a button.

I've been playing with the app for a few days now and it's extremely simple.  When you first download the app, you simply add a few contacts.  For mine, I have my husband and my mom.  For the boys, I have downloaded the app and made myself their emergency contact.  When they walk out the door, they press the "follow me" button and that will send my phone and email address a map that I can watch them on until they get to "I'm safe" destination. 

React Mobile is really great for everyone.  Originally designed for college students, React Mobile has so many different features that I recommend it for anyone with the ability to download apps.  Best part, it's still free!

Honest Company

I think I’m pretty hooked on laundry pods.  It couldn’t get any more simple then reaching into a bag and just throwing a pod of soap into the laundry machine right? So when I heard the Honest Company has created their own laundry pods I knew I had to try them.  But why test out just their laundry pods?  So I ordered some diapers, wipes, shampoo + body wash, hand soap and different lotions.  What a bundle of products I got!

I’ve heard of The Honest Company, and by now if your ever on Facebook I’m sure you have to because they are always pushing advertisement.  But I really juts looked past the adds and kept on doing what I was doing.  I shame myself for not ordering their products sooner.

So lets start with the Laundry pods.  They are a 4 in1 performance pod: cleaning, stain fighting, brightening and softening.  I think they work pretty great and my laundry always smells super fresh when I use them.  Another great is though that I can use them in my high efficiency washer which you cant do with all detergents and pods so that’s another major plus.  But my favorite detail about the pods is the convenience.  If you haven’t used pods before I strongly suggest trying them.  There is no pouring, no measuring, and no spilling soap everywhere (which I have a tendency of doing when I pour from a jug). The Honest company’s pods are even safe for newborns so you can really use them for every ones laundry which eliminates the extra wasted from sorting. 

Next up; the Diapers and wipes.  Oh my goodness, if I always bought diapers just because I thought they were cute I think I would have switched to cloth until now.  Cloth diapers are adorable and you just don't find disposable diapers with that kind of designs, until now!  The Honest Company has the cutest disposable diapers I have ever seen!  My favorite design is the strawberry patch but there are so many different ones to choose from you can't go wrong.  OK... now enough about the design.  They also hold up really well!!! Little Princess is sick this week and there is no leakage in the massive nasty diapers she is having!  Win win!!  The wipes are free of any chemicals that will burn her skin like alcohol.  Yes, did you know some wipes even have alcohol in them!  Imagine that on one very sore bottom.  It would be horrible!!!

Now the lotions and soaps are pretty self explanatory.  My husband loves the lemongrass scent of the hand soap which provides for an advanced plant-based organic cleaning.  And I liked the Honest Company Shampoo + Body wash.  The sweet orange vanilla scent is amazing!  Overall though, the face + body lotion is my favorite.  The non-greasy cream is amazing for this cold dry weather.

Lifeless bumpy skin? Try NeoCell

Every now and then I scroll through the channels in the afternoon and somehow I end up stopping on Dr. Oz.  Most the time the show is pretty interesting.  Last week

I have had the opportunity to try the NeoCell products and I can't think of anything easier then eating a piece of "candy" or in this case a fruit chew to get the essential and oh so important dose of Collagen that my body is missing out on.  NeoCell sent me a bag of Beauty Burst Gourmet Collagen Soft Chews and they are actually pretty good.  Unlike most vitamin chews where you can taste a grimy mixture of the vitamins these are actually pretty good. 

I have only been taking these for a few days, so my personal results are still unclear but Dr. Oz stated that some people can see results in as little as two weeks!  Science Daily recently posted an article where they stated "firmer skin of the face and forehead was associated with greater bone density". So at the very least if your not the type of person too concerned with your outer appearance, do it for your physical health ability to keep those strong bones.

NeoCell has several different supplements, as I have already said I love the Beauty Burst Gourmet Collagen Soft Chews.  The fruit punch flavor is just as if I was eating a piece of candy.  But then I'm also using the Collagen Beauty Builder tablets.  They are the high absorption collagen just as Dr. Oz stated was important and they promote radiant & smooth skin, skin hydration, and stronger nails.  My nails are so brittle this is sure to be a plus for all around greatness!

My personal thoughts; I'm still "pretty young" although my boys would say different.  But if I can do something so easy as eat a few fruit chews each day (and actually enjoy them) then why not?  It's really no different then eating some candy or a star burst for example and these are providing vital vitamins that help your body inside and out.  NeoCell has so many different vitamins and supplements that I'm hooked and a true believer.

Marj's Naturals & Global Goddess

Marj’s Naturals teamed up with Global Goddess and helped us fill some of the stockings for the teens in our December event.  They were a huge hit!!!!  Everyone went crazy in hopes to get one of the 5 adorable packages put together by their marketing team.  But was I surprised?  Nope, not one bit because they are amazing products!

We have reviewed both of these companies before, so I knew they were A+ products for some A+ gals.  Marj’s Naturals is a sweet little company with an amazing creator.  Majorie, a registered nurse and makeup artist, grew up with fresh fruit at an arms reach and with a deep understanding for just how beneficial these fruits can be.  She infused these fruits into her soaps making them one of my all time favorite products from our blog.
