MyRazBaby

It’s so hard to believe that Jeramiah is 9 and Mr. Maison is 7. It breaks my heart to realize that they are growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was feeding him through a bottle, swaddling him to sleep, and constantly picking up binky’s and other numerous toys off the floor. Can someone make him a baby again? I miss those tiny fingers and sweet toes!

Well my babies aren’t babies anymore but that’s ok, because there are so many of you expecting and we love sharing that joy with you.

I recently came across MyRazBaby and goodness I wish this was something I had found 9 years ago! These are not only fashionable pacifiers but check this out, they have a built in closing shield when they are not being used. If your baby drops their pacifier, the shield closes preventing the nipple from touching the floor. This also eliminates the need for a pacifier case, because the case is the built in shield, allowing busy parents to toss a binky in the diaper bag without any worries.

Another great feature on them is they can be personalized. I hated the days when I would take the boys to daycare and come home with another child’s things or another child took home ours. It was never anything big generally a bottle, Sippy cup, or wait, yes a binky. It would just seem so wrong! Take out the confusion for the babysitter by having your sweet babies name right on their pacifier! This will save so much confusion at the daycare, plus it’s a totally cute feature! So why not?

Artisan Truffle Eggs

Who needs breakfast when you have chocolate? (as I put another bite in my mouth).  There are days where food reviews just seem to be so fulfilling and this is one of them.

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company has compiled an amazing  collection and I am so excited to say I had the opportunity to try it first hand!  Established in 1981, the St. Louis based company is more than just providing delicious treats to their customers.  You can stop by one of their locations and take a Free Tour and see how their artistic creations are made.

So on with the taste! I had the opportunity to try their very new Artisan Truffle Eggs and can I say YUM! The beautiful egg shaped truffles come packaged perfectly for a gift but of course I wasn’t sharing.  Well, there are a few left, I might let hubby have one or two.  These are packaged in such a perfect way, they will make a great office gift or maybe a gift for a few teachers I know.

The Artisan Truffle Eggs are handcrafted and made with all natural ingredients from German Chocolate to Carrot Cake.  This is a very unique collection and I have to say I have never had anything like it.  I’m in love with the amazing creamy taste and the beautiful design.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above free for review purposes. Regardless, I will only recommend products that I have personally tested/tried and believe will be a good fit for my readers.

The Travels of Ching

The Travels of Ching

There aren’t many books I can remember from when I was in grade school, just a “few” years ago, but very lightly I can remember the librarian reading The Travels of Ching among a few others.  We all had favorite books growing up, and although I can’t say this was one of them I do remember it, so apparently it did make a lasting impression.

Robert Bright wrote and illustrated the book in 1943 so you could imagine how surprised I was to learn that The Travels of Ching is currently being republished by his granddaughter.  What a sweet gesture that is and a great opportunity to share a book with my children that I remember from when I was their age.

The Travels of Ching is a delightful and educational story of how a little doll makes a long journey from China to America and then into the hands of the most deserving recipient.  This is a great book for all ages.  Miss Aly loved it, the boys loved it, and even I enjoyed reading it again after all these years.

Newborn Necessities

We have been sharing some really great baby gift ideas and lovely baby products, but we just couldn’t bare to leave out Jennifer Cigale’s book Newborn Necessities.

This is a cute and easy to carry along book which makes the transition to parenthood a little easier with the convenient charts and logs.

The first couple of pages act as a guide to help the new parents get through the first week or so understanding their baby’s input and output a little better. After that the useful logs are a great way to keep track of valuable information the pediatrician will ask later on.

This is a great gift for a new parent and you can check them out on the following links.

The Miracle is Me

My Dreamy Baby

Every time we receive a new book in the house the boys fight and fight over who gets to read it first. I guess that’s a good thing right? Well Aly to the rescue this week because this one is all hers!

The Miracle is Me, written and illustrated by Kristia Watson is a vividly colorful book inspired by the miracle that is life and dedicated to the miracles in mine.

The cardboard book is extremely child friendly and destructive resistant which is perfect for Miss Aly! And although she may not understand all the words to it, she really enjoyed looking at the different colorful pages and pointing out what each shape is.

This one was a lot of fun for not only me to read to her but the boys each took a turn as well!

FRAAS Scarf

Sometimes it feels like winter is never going to move out, we are getting snow flurries again today.  But that’s ok, because one I love the snow and two I love the snow.  Sometimes it can be difficult to keep warm outside though. Along with a heavy winter coat we have our gloves and hats on but finding a scarf that is not only warm but enjoyable can be another matter.  I have never really had good luck with scarves until I was introduced to FRAAS Scarves.

I received this teal FRAAS cashmink scarf and I have to admit it’s one the softest scarf I have ever tried on.  The scarf is 12 inches wide so there is plenty of material there to keep me plenty warm as I venture on outside.  To add to the good quality, the scarf is loose fitting and very movable without being a bulky mess.

I am really enjoying my FRAAS scarf and recommend one for you and one as a gift.  Check themout on Amazon.

Kickee Pants

Miss Aly is a wild child, but she is a sweet, loveable, huggable, bundle of bubbles and is really getting to the age where she is dancing and prancing around like a little princess.  Would you expect anything less?  After all she is related to me.

So like most aunts, I LOVE to spoil her and when I found Kickee Pants clothing I was really impressed.  The extra soft bamboo material is not only absolutely adorable, but very breathable and unrestrictive.  My sister said this is officially Aly’s new Zumba outfit.  I swear that child has an outfit for everything, and if she doesn’t she should. *Wink wink*

The soft colors were perfect for a 2 year old and I’m sure it’s safe to say she liked them to because when I pulled them out of the bag, her eyes lit up like a star in the sky.  I love Miss Aly!

What I found interesting with Kickee Pants is the fact that their clothing is all made out of bamboo.  The fabric takes on the qualities of the plant meaning it becomes antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic.  What could be more perfect for rough and tough child who is into EVERYTHING!

Check out Kickee Pants and I hope you love them as much as we do!

Thermal-Aid

http://thermal-aid.com/

Hot/Cold therapy is a long time source of relief for just about everything anymore.  Pain, cramping, sprains and strains, and more recently sunburn, and fevers.  But getting a child to hold onto a cold ice pack when they have a fever, it’s impossible…  A sick child doesn’t want to hold onto anything but you and maybe their teddy.

So when I found Thermal-aid animals, I knew they were a perfect fit for my readers.  Check this out, you can heat them or cool them down.  Now personally I like heat…. I like the adult packs that Thermal-aid offers because the corn technology they have developed produces a clean and long lasting heat.  But for our sick kiddo’s, Thermal-Aid offers this same technology in animals, such as bears, monkeys, and even a rabbit.

Thermal-Aid products can be heated up easily in the microwave.  I was really surprised how long Jo-Jo the Monkey stayed warm after we heated him up.   Instructions were included to prevent overheating but in just a few minutes Jo-Jo was ready.  For the cooling therapy, approximately 5 hours in the freezer and its ready to go.
I am so glad that we found Thermal-aid, the high quality heating and cooling therapy without the high cost.  The products are not only efficient but really adorable to! What would you use Thermal-Aid for?

Zoobies Blanket Pet

I can’t even begin to tell you how soft Posh the Poodle is from Zoobies! When we received her, I was extremely surprised at not only the quality but the size and durability of this blanket pet. Posh the puddle, like other blanket pets from Zoobies, is a 3-in-1 toy, including a plush toy, duffel bag, and warm blanket.

I really liked how when I folded the rather large blanket back up, there was still enough room in the bag for a few diapers or a small outfit. This will be perfect to send to grandmas for a sleep over. But I know better, the bag will probably contain doll clothes and toys as Miss Aly loves to carry her own bag. At least this is a cute one right?

I am really impressed with Zoobies! They have so many really neat products and Posh the Poodle is just the beginning. I can't wait to order the New Glow Bugs they offer to!  Be sure to check out all of their sweet products on their website and even their Facebook page.

Baby Bee-Haven

If you’re like me, we are always on the go!  Sometimes we have Miss Aly and sometimes we have other lil baby bugs. Either way we love our little sweets but it can be hard to keep up with having both boy and girl stuff around.    Baby-Bee Haven to the rescue!  I found these Crush ‘n Go Stroller covers and fell in love!  I can turn my nutural colored jeep umbrella stroller into a hot pink comfy and secure nest for the princess! When she goes home, I just take the cushion out and we are ready to start all over again.

The memory foam cushions support your baby’s head, back, and neck while providing a high quality design. I really loved this feature because as any parent would know, umbrella strollers are not exactly supportive, until I added the Crush n’ Go. The memory foam makes a huge difference.

Yes, kids get things dirty and it can be so hard to keep up with changing this or washing that, especially on the run.  Who wants to carry two of these around? I don’t and I’m sure that’s not on your “to do” list either.  Another great feature is not only are they machine washable, (of course) but they are reversible!  So when your out and about and one side gets dirty, turn it over and worry about it when you get home.

I really the Baby-Bee Haven products, especially these Crush ‘n Go’s.  But be sure to check out their website and see what else they have to offer, who knows you might win your choice of any product you would like!
